New Albany truly is a remarkable community, full of wonderful people, places and traditions. That includes a history of fun, welcoming outdoor gathering places for families and friends to enjoy. At NAPC, we take pride in providing excellent facilities for our city to enjoy.
Take a moment to see the offerings we provide. From sprawling river walks, to super-fun playgrounds, to outdoor recreation – we think you’ll find something to enjoy, for all ages! We’re carrying on the small town feel of New Albany, with unique places for our citizens to enjoy!
Park Along the River
New Albany’s largest park. Spanning almost a mile in length, this park offers amenities including a playground, public pavilion with picnic tables & bathrooms, a large arena for concerts and events, and almost 3 miles of walking trails through beautiful trees and across the Tallahatchie river. Enjoy the beautiful walking bridge as well as disc golf across the park. With sitting areas along the trail and ample picnic areas, this is a park your family can enjoy for just a few hours . . . or an entire day!
BNA Park Playground & Picnic
People looking for a lesser known area for the kids to play or a great place to take an outdoor break can look to our “park within a park” at the BNA Bank Park Ball fields. Located near our office, this park offers swings and picnic areas as well as a large lawn for recreation.
One of our most recent additions, the NAPC dog park is a safe haven for pet owners who want to take a break with a secure area. With almost 2 acres of fenced area, this is a great place for dog lovers to enjoy the outdoors.
Shady Dell Park
Outdoor hoops is Shady Dell’s big move, but playground equipment brings it all together for this classic New Albany Park.
North Side Park
One of our smaller parks, residents enjoy swings and new playground equipment as well as a spacious lawn for recreation and relaxing.
